With the big success of the 2023 Invite/Open cup season, PassionateGaming will be hosting a Season II of the Invitation cup and Open cup 2024!

How to qualify for Invitation?

If you haven't been part of the first Invitation Cup, you have time until March 31st to reach an Elo of 2200 points to qualify for the Invitation Cup. If you reach this threshold, please contact either tOx or Skarn to sign up for the Cup.

Draft system

- Tier A = 3 points, Tier B = 2 points, Tier C = 1 point

- Every captain has 12 points to spend for 6 players (captain + 5 picks).

- 1st round: Lowest Tier captain starts picking.

- If captains are in the same Tier, the captain starts picking who gained most elo points in Season 5.

- 2nd round: Captain with the most points left starts picking.

- If captains have the same points, the Random button will determine who picks first.

- Every Team needs 2A, 2B and 2C players.

Groupstage

- 2 Groups of 5 Teams.

- 1st of each group = semi finals.

- 2nd against 3rd of each group will play each other in playoffs.

- Best of 3.

- No Draws.

- Every map win counts as 1 point (possible results: 2:0 or 2:1).

- Map picking: ban, ban, pick, pick, elimination for decider (cointoss decides who starts banning).

- Every map can only be picked/banned once during groupstage.

- Server rules: Your map pick has to be played on enemy server and vice versa.

- Games between EU and NA are only allowed on NY/UK.

- If Teams can’t agree on a server for the decider map, the wheel will decide.

- Matches will be forced on Sundays. Only if both captains agree to play earlier you can reschedule the game.
