Thats it for the groupstage!
With our final match played the groupstage of this draft has come to an end. Let's see how it played out.
We have had a nice groupstage with only 1 map being forfeited. All matches seemed to have been close and there was not much drama except for some people not being ready for a defensive strat.
Group A
With group A we already start with the closest group of this draft. All matches resulted in map draws and only the number of caps made the difference in this group. There is only 2.4 points difference between the number 1 and number 4.
Team D-Mich and fucknoodle advance to the playoffs which isn't strange with attackers like dmich & nani(as long as he is not put on defense) on one team and the teamplay of the former team hi on the other team, they are a force to be reckoned with.
In this group we say goodbye to Passionate Zoo and The Backstabbers .
Group B
Group B had one clear winner in Demons of Dispatch who after 2 matches was already certain of advancing to the playoffs. Boltronics wasn't ready for what aespa would bring to them in the last game though and went on a blaming spree. Poor subs....
aespa won 2 maps and made them second in the group.
In this group we say goodbye to Old but Gold and Beer Is Great!.
Group C
Group C was another very close group with all teams still in the running on the last match week. In the end, it is the duku favorites of Rather Play Duku who take away the first place. The fight for 2nd place in the group turned out to be very close and only 2 caps in favor of Team UwU make them advance to the playoffs.
In this group we say goodbye to Team x4`unreal and ~Killing !nsta Peasants~ and with that also saying goodbye to our highest rated player wdn.
Group D
In our last group, group D we saw also a clear winner in TURN OFF PLS, where dB gathered a bunch of siege boys and filled the team with Decl and Rasta-man. They won the most maps in the groupstage and thus gathered the most points. Let's see if they can live up to that in the playoffs.
Following them into the playoffs is Improbable Immediate Flag Extraction, who fought a multiple days/server battle with KurWa over the second place. When the dust settled IIFE() was left standing and will continue in the tournament.
In this group we say goodbye to KurWa and Seriously Extreme Xtreme
