This years lowest rated captain might have surprised everyone by not picking the TOP TOP guys first, but opting for Dizzeh as a first pick. It might turn out to be a mastermind move, since it allowed him to get another powerhouse later in the draft in Nukemz. His last pick was veteran Acidslam, making this an almost full UK team. It will be interesting to see what this team does in terms of positions. Will they stuck their main guns on 1v1 and hope acid and twistz can hold the 2v2 enough? Or will they opt for something different, where Nuke will roam and do the 2v2 to help acid on a solo point?

UnreadyToDominate

As one of the other lower rated captains, eki did go for the big fish and first picked BNG. This years €1100 is going to have to carry his team to victories on the maps. Eki and BNG have played together before, reaching the playoffs in last years cup, so they know what to expect from eachother. They are paired with Qbit and Nestor, 2 known names in PG cups so they know what is expected in this tournament. I think BNG and Qbit will play the solo spots, leaving eki and nestor for the 2v2. Qbits activity is going to be key in this team, in good shape he can go even vs quiet some players on 1v1. For the rest this team relies on BNG winning his spot by a big enough margin to make up for the other points. 

I Dom Heroes

• WildCAT (€ 350)

The team with the very original team name (WildcatRumbaCrispyVazmator). Captain Rumba went with players from the middle of the pack to create a stable team without many weaknesses. Even their lowest rated player wildcat has much experience playing iDOM in the clanbase era. With a rising star like crispy and the steadyness and versatiliy from vazmator and rumba himself they have many options to tackle the opponents. They have 3 players that are able to hold their own on solo spots and thus can vary in tactics even during maps.

• Crylizhy (€ 890)
• asking8840 (€ 840)
• Tha-Kirk-A-Nator (€ 410)

Arcus went with a mix of fragpower (Asking), 1v1 power(Crylizhy) and solid gameplay (Arcus and kirk). This team will have to awake some dom spirit in asking and motivate him to practice the maps abit. It will be a search to find a way to use him to full potential. Arcus is part of fout, so he has clanmates who know idom (Crylizhy is one of them) so maybe he can borrow some of that knowledge and use it in this cup. Crylizhy will mainly play the 1v1 spots and he can match most of even the top guys due to his speed and mapknowledge. The question remains who the other 1v1 player will be. Asking has that potential ofcourse, but it would require him to know the maps better.
