With recently announced changes, the TOP 3 of each group advance to the Double Elimination playoffs, with #1 of each group getting a BYE week.

We had some three-way ties based on match points in both groups. See below how it was determined who advances.

Extract from the rules:

3. If more than two teams are tied, then these steps will be used to break the tie:

1. The highest number of map wins in the matches between the teams in the tie.
2. The highest number of DOM points in the matches between the teams in the tie.
3. The highest number of total DOM points between the tied teams.

Group A

-re|, -=EF- and [F$G] were all tied on 5 match points at the end of the group stage. Here is how it was resolved:

• All teams had exactly 3 map wins in the matches involving the tied teams.
• Since in all the matches involving the tied teams there was an equal number of maps played, the DOM points were added together, resulting in the following order:
  1. -re|: 1938 DOM pts
  2. [F$G]: 1903 DOM pts
  3. -=EF-: 1851 DOM pts
• Based on the points above, teams -re| and [F$G] secure places #2 and #3 (respectively) in Group A and proceed to playoffs. Team -=EF- does not qualify.

Group B

ess|, [Ð] and «X» were all tied on 3 match points at the end of the group stage. Here is how it was resolved:

• ess| and «X» had 3 map wins, while [Ð] had only 2, meaning that the team with the least map wins does not qualify.
• Between the two remaining teams, the winner of their match was «X» who therefore finishes #3 in Group B and advances to the playoffs. Team ess| does not qualify.
